At 15:
Matthew is rather short for his age, and would be chest height to anyone of average height for a 15 year old. This is made worse by the slouch he has developed. Wearing a thick and heavy cloak, walking with a cane and the raspy whisper of his voice causes people to tend to assume he is an old man. Under his cloak he wears only a sleeveless black jacket and a pair of extremely short shorts.
His face and body are covered in bandages, even his fingers. The only parts of his body that are always visible are his hair, sticking out in messy blonde tufts and his left eye, still as bright blue as ever. He often has a case of Mydriasis however, making it seem that his eyes are black. Sometimes he will leave his mouth free, other times he will cover it. His lips are cracked and dry looking.
His right leg and left arm, both right up to the starting joint, have been replaced with large, unwieldy metal substitutes, and he doesn't even have an eyelid left on his right eye. Under his bandages, he is a horrific mess-a spear sized hole right through his abdomen, wounds ranging from small grazes to deep flesh cuts and in some places even his bone is exposed. His throat is permanently slit, which causes him to whisper constantly. All of these wounds, except under special circumstances, are bleeding, but have been stitched shut. His bandages are covered in healing magic to keep him stablised, and so are always a pristine white unless he exerts himself.
He's a rather abhorrent sight in all his glory-to see him without his numerous coverings and protections is likely to make the viewer vomit. He looks a lot like something fresh off of a very nasty traffic accident, held together by stitches and prayer.
At 20:
Matthew is short for a full grown man-standing at 4'8, he's likely to be chest height for most people and he has a naturally slim body type, with only a thin layer of muscles. His preference of night over day means he is also extremely pale, but he does not look unhealthily so. He has fluffy and messy blonde hair, which he doesn't bother to style most of the time, simply allowing his hair settle into its own shape. It's fairly long, trailing around his neck.
He has a heart shaped face, and looks extremely youthful.
His eyes are usually a very bright blue, but when performing his mind control they will shift into a swirling black and white set of opposing spirals.Basically this.
His body is noticeably completely devoid of any scars, including the tiny blemishes that most people pick up. He has absolutely none-he doesn't even have a navel.
This all refers to when he takes human shape, his default form. He's an excellent shape shifter, but he tends to focus on tentacles, hands (usually on extremely long and flexible arms) and generally turning into monsters.
